Qur’an 49:13

Created to Know One Another

Human dignity is not measured by race, wealth or status, but by consciousness of Allah.

وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا

“We made you into peoples and tribes so that you may get to know one another.”

Qur’an 49:13

Difference is not permission for pride. The verse redirects human worth away from lineage and social rank toward taqwā—a reality fully known only to Allah.

Knowing others requires humility, fairness and the willingness to move beyond assumptions.
